However, it turned out that the TUBULAR\u2122TUB-AX cables have higher prolonged current carrying capacity of the power conductor, smaller bend radius, lower weight and longer life than the XRUHAKXS cables. After detailed calculations and comparison of the data sheets, the designers quickly realised that the TUBULAR\u2122TUB-AX cables have higher prolonged current carrying capacity of the power conductor compared to the XRUHAKXS cables but also greater one-second short-circuit current rating of the return conductor.
